WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED WHEN I ORDER A STORK SIGN?
When ordering, it is important for us to have the vital information for the baby’s bundle. The bundle is yours to treasure in years to come as a keepsake of your baby’s birth. This includes the baby’s first and middle name, birthdate, and weight and length. We also need to know the specific delivery address/directions, and if you wish to order stars for sibling’s names or bones for pet’s names.
With a regular stork announcement rental, we offer a reduced rate grandparent stork rental. It is helpful for us to know if we will encounter any aggressive animals including roosters. Yes, roosters can be quite aggressive to stork planters! We also need to be aware of the rental time (7 or 10 days).
HOW DO YOU PROCESS PAYMENTS?
We process payments through Square and the charge will appear on your account as a Square transaction (SQ).
IS A LAWN NECESSARY TO INSTALL THE STORK SIGNS?
We install signs on traditional residential lawns. We define a lawn as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top. We cannot install signs in rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, thick landscaping or hard packed soil that has been used as a driveway, for example. We are unable to install signs in areas where rocks / small boulders are prominent in the “yard.” We are required to drive the stake into the ground 10-inches to properly / safely install a sign. It’s not possible in the situations described above.
We cannot place a sign in front of public utility boxes, water mains or any other structure owned by the city, county or state. We cannot impede access to these areas or we could be fined and / or have our signs destroyed because they are impeding the area.

We serve Buena Vista, Lexington, Glasgow, Natural Bridge, Goshen, Fairfield, Raphine, Vesuvius, Brownsburg, and Rockbridge Baths. If your rental is outside our rental area, please contact us. We will try our best to accommodate you for an additional fee.

WHAT TIME DO YOU DELIVER YOUR YARD SIGNS?
Deliveries begin daily at 8:30 am Monday thru Saturday unless previous arrangements are made. Late night deliveries are not safe for us. We may be able to arrange a sunset/dusk delivery for a birthday with a text prior to arrival so blinds can be drawn, pets restrained.
WHAT COLOR VINYL DO YOU USE ON THE BABY BUNDLE, STARS, CLOUDS AND BIRTHDAY MESSAGE PLAQUES?
Stork Signs:
We use pink or blue on the sides of the bundle. For wording, our default color is black because it’s easy to read and matches the sign. However, we are happy to use your color preference. Be sure to let us know at the time you order. If you don’t request a different color we will use black.
Sibling / Message Stars:
Our default color is black but there is a colorful background of pink or blue polka dots or hearts on sibling signs.
Message Stars for birthday / anniversary / all occasion celebrations have a fun colorful background. We do our best to match the theme of the sign or party.
WHERE WILL YOU PLACE THE SIGN IN THE YARD?
We will choose the perfect spot in your yard for your stork to maximize visibility and make sure you get great photos.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
You will receive a full refund if any of the following apply:
- Cancel within 72 hours in advance of the rental date, we can offer a refund.
- If we are unable to deliver due to adverse weather conditions such as (but not limited to) heavy snow/ice or high winds. We will make every effort to deliver if our safety is not compromised. We will make every effort to get your display out as soon as possible.
NO REFUNDS for circumstances out of our control that prevent us from setting up such as:
- If we are given wrong address or bad directions and are unable to reach you.
- If we cannot set up the display due to loose dogs or other animals that may make us feel threatened.
- If the homeowner stops us from setting up the display.
- If the recipient requests us to remove the display early.
FOR SAFETY please do not allow children or adults to play on or around the displays. Our items WILL NOT safely support the weight of child or adult leaning, sitting, or playing on it.
We do, however, encourage the taking of pictures!
In the event of adverse winds, we request you remove your keepsake to prevent breakage. These are generally sturdy, however, with strong winds they will blow and break. If the winds are extremely strong, please remove the display and put it in a safe place to prevent damage to your property or our display.
When we pick up the display, we will leave your keepsake at your door. If you remove it yourself, please leave the support strip, screw, and wing nut.
Please do not attach balloons or any decorations to the storks.
